A Little More....

The boys had "Crazy Hair" day at school.  Sutton let me put a little green in his hair and make it crazy!  Avery went with a spiky do.  He wasn't feeling the crazy hair.

My sister will be getting married on December 1st!  She had a fabulous wedding shower a couple of weekends ago.  It was so nice!  I loved her cake.

My sister and all of her lovely hostesses.

Two of my close friends were able to be there.  They are both expecting new babies!  Liz will be having her first in February and Shannon will be having #2 the first week in March.  So exciting!

Our lovely family!

Later that night, my mom helped my boys with their school project.  They had to pick out a book character and decorate a pumpkin like it.  Avery chose a dinosaur from his book, and Sutton's favorite book has a cow in it so we made him a cow.

My mom is one crafty woman.  The last picture is my 2 year old doiing what he does best......CLOWNING around with some upside down bubba teeth!

It's Been a While

First and foremost....my boys had "Farmer's Day" at preschool!  Yep...How cute are they?? Second, my computer has been sick....got to get it fixed.  That's why I haven't been able to update my blog.  It's driving me crazy not keeping it up.  Hopefully it will get fixed very soon!
This past weekend, Brian and I left for Dallas and enjoyed our time there with some family and friends.  Brian's cousin got married so it was a great excuse to get a way for a weekend.  My sister and PJ were so kind to drive to my house and stay with our boys.  Brian and I had a blast.  Amber, Steven, and Wayne met us there and we all enjoyed the wedding festivities!

I met Miss Rylee Jo Kirby for the first time.  She is a doll.  She was the little flower girl.

The bride and groom....Jon and Connie Kirby!

Their wedding was gorgeous!  They had the ceremony outside at sunset.  They had a dinner and dance afterwards in a huge white tent.  The flowers and decorations were very very nice.

I had so much fun just people watching!  This group knows how to have a good time.  I loved watching all the dancing that was going on!

I feel rejuvenated!  It's so nice to just take a break sometimes.

How do you feel about CloWNs?

Me and this little guy had a "special" afternoon on Sunday.  We left Brian and Sutton home after church and headed to a birthday party and then a little shopping.

The birthday party was great!  Avery got his face painted.  He had to hold his mouth open so that the dinosaur painting would look right....

You can just imagine how sad he was when bath time rolled around and the dinosaur had to come off!

Then the clown showed up!  I just did NOT know how Avery would do with a clown.  He has never been a fan of characters or people all dressed up.  I talked to him about it before we got there and he seemed ok and excited about it.  When the clown showed up, he was super happy.  I think it helped that she was an older woman in her 70's.  Not to mention, hilarious!  I think I enjoyed her just as much as the kids did.

Her name is Momma Magic.....and her magic words (which I thought were hilarious) were
"Hocus Pocus Chicken Bones Will Choke Us!"

She even called on Avery to come help her with a few tricks.

So much fun!  Momma Magic lives in the Little Rock area.  If you need a funny clown that does some magic, look her up!  She was great!

Larry's & Autism Walk

This week we had Avery a little get together with his some of his friends.  We all went to Larry's Pizza for some games, pizza, and cake!

I thought this was so sweet....While Avery was opening presents, I saw Ava asking her mom where his card was that she had brought him.  I found it for her, handed it to her, and she immediately took it to him to watch him open it.  She wanted to give it to him and she wanted to see him open it.  How sweet is that....and for this age to even care about that!  Ava is one sweet girl!  I'm so glad this picture was taken...it soooo captured that thoughtful moment.

Mumu and Jamie drove up for the party!  Notice the little hand getting more tokens out of Mumu's cup.

I had to post this picture....I'm usually the one behind the camera most of the time.  These kind of moments just do not happen very often in my house with a 2 year old that never slows down and a 5 year old.  But....this did happen last night.  We cuddled on the couch and watched some tv for a good 30 minutes and I ate it up!

This morning we headed to the Presidental Clinton Library to walk for Team Brodie for Austim.  It was C.O.L.D. but I'm so glad we were there.  There were tons of people and supporters!  We enjoyed being able to support the Derby family.

Avery and Braxton are BIG buds.  They go to preschool together and will both start kindergarten next year.  Braxton is Brodie's younger brother. :)
