Saturday Fun

Today we hung out with Blake, Kacey, and Ava....some of our favorite peeps! We started out at the Big Buck Classic then the zoo and finally to Corky's for some BBQ. We had a blast. Ava and Avery were great and enjoyed everything! It was the perfect Saturday!

Happy Birthday Jackson

Our cousin Jackson will be 4 years old tomorrow! We celebrated with him this past weekend in De Queen. We all had a great time visiting and watching him unwrap his gifts.

At one point of the night, Avery and Jackson were dancing to some Charlie Daniels. Jackson wanted to get his cowboy gear on. He suited up and wanted Avery to be a cowboy as well. He took it upon himself to give Avery a hat and put some boots on him. CUTE!

Like Father Like Son

Busted! I heard what sounded like tapping on the wall with a hammer. When I walked into Avery's room to investigate, this is what I saw.....Avery had dumped out his laundry basket, flipped it upside down, and used it as a step to climb up on top of his dresser so that he could take down the wooden letters on his wall. Of course, he didn't do all of this without his hammer in his hand! He had to make sure and hammer in the nails in after he had tossed the letters.

Did I mention that my husband and son look just alike, think just alike, and act just alike!

Today it was around 34 degrees outside so we had to go out for a while! After all, it has been in the teens so it was warm compared to what it has been. Brian and Avery raked some leaves for a while.

At the end of the evening it looked as if our whole entire yard was on fire! Brian assured me several times that it was just fine. What is it with men and fire?

Go Hogs Go

Yesterday we went to Blake, Kacey, and Ava's house to watch the game. We haven't seen them in a while so it was so good to hang out with them. They cooked for us as always and we just visited and watched the game. After the game, we put the kids down to bed and watched a movie. We really enjoyed ourselves!

The kids weren't into the game, so Kacey hooked them up with some Dora on the computer.

How in the world we got this photo is beyond me! I set up my camera and took one photo and this is what the result was....Somehow we were all looking at the camera smiling!!
