Happy Thanksgiving

Sutton and Avery helped Nonnie with the crock pot dressing the morning of Thanksgiving.

When it was time to crumble up the toast and put it in, Sutton chose to eat his....
We were able to spend some time with Mabry and Granny for Thanksgiving.

We also got to visit with our cute little cousin Rylee Jo.

We also celebrated PJ"s 28th birthday!!  Happy Birthday to PJ!
I just had to share these last two photos.....Sutton LOVES helping Brian with anything and everything.  Tonight it was building a fire....You can just see the excitement and love this boy has for his Dad.

Visiting with family at Lake Erling last weekend.....

 Planting flowers with Junebug....
 Opening gifts!!

Eating lots of good food prepared in this magnificent kitchen!!
and playing with cousins we haven't seen in about 18 months....

I have not been doing so great getting pictures.  I feel like I've been busier than usual.  I think the ages of my kiddos have me running around like a chicken with my head cut off...not to mention teaching 20 kindergartners and managing a household...whew...I'm worn out just typing that.  Oh....and my computer keeps acting up, so I never know when I'll be able to post a blog.
I did get a few pictures from last weekends visit with Mimi, Grandad, and Pops at the lake.  We had Thanksgiving and Christmas because we had family in from Connecticut.  We had a very nice visit!

Almost December 1st

Have I mentioned that my beautiful sister is getting married in St. Thomas on December 1st!?!?!?!  We are all so exited for her and PJ!  She had a Christmas/Bachlorette party a couple of weekends ago.  It was one of the best showers I have ever attended.  She opened lots of gifts and we all visited, laughed, danced, and sang for most of the night.  We ALL had a blast!

This is my mom, her two sisters, Lindsey, and myself...

Lindsey and one of her best friends, Courtney.

My bestie, Shan, and myself....Shannon is having a boy!!!

This is my favorite picture of the night...Lindsey performed some Alanis Morissette for us all!  I cannot wait until December1st!!

The Dozer

I said to Brian as I was taking these pictures "Aren't you so glad your boys are into big equipment and boy stuff!?!"  When we pulled up into the yard and they saw a dozer sitting beside their house....they were as getty and as excited as two boys could be.  They were as content and happy as could be just sitting on this dozer eating their Halloween candy of course!  I love these.

When it was time for Brian to do some work with it, they sat and watched.  We even threw a blanket on the ground and ate our supper outside by the dozer.  I think the boys felt like it was super special....even Brian!

Avery saw a remote control snake at the Bass Pro Shop in Florida back when we went in June.  We told him he could save his money up and buy it.  We knew we could order when it was time....well, it was time.  Last week we counted his money that he had been saving in his piggy bank.  He had enough for his remote control snake.  During his nap today, the mailman delivered it.  You talk about one proud, happy, excited little boy!  He LOVES it!  It is creepy though...the tail moves and the eyes light up red....it's a little to real looking for me.  Sutton HATES it.  He's not scared of many things, but this snake creeps him out.
After fun with the dozer and the creepy crawly snake, it came a nice thunderstorm.  The boys contstructed their own little shelter using the screen to the window (Brian's fault) and a bicycle helmet.  They were so proud and sat underneath their "umbrella" for a while getting soaked of course.

Happy Halloween!

Thanks for our Halloween shirts Nana and Poppa!

I had to get a couple of pictures of all the fabulous pumpkins the kids at preschool decorated with their families!  I was so impressed with all of the creative ideas.

Colt came to hang out with us on Saturday and spend the night!

One of my best friends contacted me over the weekend and said he was in the area.  Brian and I met him and his girlfriend for dinner.  It had been 9 years since we have seen each other.  It was such a good visit!  We miss you Matty! :)

It was that time...time for dressing up and trick-or-treating!  Avery was Batman and Sutton was a gnome.

We kept our tradition going and headed over to the Young's neighborhood.  We went trick-or-treating with Blake, Kacey, Ava, and Jake!
