Feeling Good!

After two weeks of being sick, Avery is finally starting to feel normal! He has been able to enjoy his toys that he got for Christmas. His buddy Colt also came to play today. It's so nice to see Avery smiling!
This is his John Deere Tricycle that Santa brought him.

Colt cheesing at the camera.

Playing with stacking blocks that Aunt Cathy and Uncle Webb gave him.

Avery and Colt felt like dancing today so I taped a little bit of it. As you can see, Avery is more into break dancing while Colt stays in one spot and boogies down!

Christmas

We had a very interesting Christmas this year. Avery was sick, sick, sick. Santa visits our house on Christmas Eve morning. That morning Avery woke up feeling horrible. Needless to say, we ended up at the ER later on that morning. He is doing much better now, but felt pretty bad all weekend long. I was able to get a few pictures of him in action (he just wasn't his normal smiling self). We spent Christmas day in DeQueen with family. Brian and I were also able to meet up with some close friends of ours one night. Aunt Amber also got engaged on Christmas Eve! Overall, we had a great time! Avery got SOOOO many toys. We are so thankful for EVERYTHING!

Do WhAt?

What a day! After going to the doctor and getting the news that our strep throat was hanging around, we spent the rest of the day at home. Avery decided he wanted to color on his shoes, take all of his toys out (but not play with them), and snuggle with his daddy and watch TV. Toward the end of the night, I had asked Brian to put a diaper on Avery. Well, Brian takes his time on EVERYTHING when it comes to something he's really not into. So several minutes later Avery walks out of his bedroom and says..."I poo poo." I was like WhAt? Again he said "I poo poo" and about that time I saw the evidence on both his legs. I couldn't help but giggle while hollering at Brian. Of course I blamed it on him for not putting his diaper on so he got to clean up the mess! He was like "What do I need to do?" I said "If it were me, I would start off with a Walmart sack and paper towels....then move to the carpet cleaner." So that's what he did. I'm glad my husband is a good sport.

I decided to leave the graphic photo out...I figured these were good enough to show how it all went down! Love you babe!

Mimi & Grandad's House

This weekend we went and had Christmas with my Dad and grandparents. They live on the lake and it is so much fun going to visit! My sister met us there along with some other family members. My Dad lives next door to my grandparents, so we were able to just go back and forth all weekend long.

The View! Beautiful!

And of course we had to get on the tractor....that was the first thing Avery spotted when we got there.

At the Farm

This morning was fun. Today, Brian was selling Christmas Trees at a Christmas Tree Farm that his company runs. We had to go hang out and visit....oh...and see Santa! I LOVE this time of year!

Avery was NOT crazy about Santa at first....

After a while, he started warming up to him.

Brian and Avery played peek-a-boo amongst all the trees!

When we left, he decided Santa wasn't so bad after all!
