Monster Trucks here we come!!

Brian and his best friend Clint took Avery and Clint's son Cooper to see the monster trucks last night at Verizon. Brian was able to get a few photos for me.

The Bell

Sutton Henry is almost 5 months old...really!!?! I just can't hardly believe it...and what a joy he has been. My Nonnie gave me a bell that her Dad had as a baby. She told me he pretty much cut his teeth on the bell. His name was Henry. Nonnie is my grandmother and Papaw Bradshaw (Henry) was my great-grandfather. She has told me several times that he would sure smile if he new that Sutton Henry was named after him. I introduced Sutton to his bell last week. Looks like Henry's think alike. Nonnie....I think he'll be cutting his teeth on it too. He LOVES his bell! What a special gift!

I had Sutton's bell sitting so pretty on a shelf in his room. I caught myself walking by it daily, looking at it and thinking about it. I finally decided I should take it down and use it. I want Sutton to enjoy this bell like his great-great-grandfather did!

Just Because

Ok....so some kids sleep with stuffed animals, blankets, you know, cuddly stuff! Not Avery...he wanted his gun and monster trucks tonight!

I go in sometime later to check on him. He was watching The Lion King and shooting at the animals on the tv.....couldn't help but laugh! So his Daddy's kid.

BABY FOOD!

Yay! We got to start baby food! Sutton loves him some green beans. I'm really not so good at not making a mess. Usually my kids have it all over them thanks to their Momma! It's fun though....and of course I had to stick a couple of Avery's first baby food pics in here too.....I just love looking at their similarities and differences at the same age!

Battle of the Snowmen

And the winner for the UGLIEST SNOWMAN ON THE BLOCK belongs to Brian Williamson...yes, I would say this is the ugliest snowman ever! My husband is usually pretty good at these types of things, but I heard him hollering "This isn't good snowman snow!" He was saying how it wouldn't pack together and all that stuff. I told him he better get some kind of snowman built for Avery. That's all Avery had been talking about for 24 hours now!! So....I got what I asked for. Brian took a rake and made a mound of snow....used carrots for all the face features...and then it looked like he threw some cereal all over it and I heard him tell Avery it was the snowman's hair....really honey!! I'm almost embarrassed to show you the pictures!! lol

So, I got out there to show him up!! I wasn't going to give up because the snow wouldn't pack....I got my spray bottle and went to work....It was a battle of the snowmen! I was determined and wasn't going to give up until I had made something presentable. I ended up making Avery and Sutton....and I must say....they are pretty darn cute!! Avery's eyes are a little scary looking but other than that, they turned out cute!!
