All Over The Place

So....Brian and I had a weekend get a way with his work.  We went to Big Cedar Lodge in Branson.  So cool, totally relaxing, just what we needed, so much fun!  LOVED our cabin.

One day last week....Brian fell asleep in my lap!  Got this lovely picture....it makes me laugh.

The WAY cool bathtub in our cabin....I think I took 17 baths the 3 days we were there!

Several weeks ago our tornado sirens went off....we used our "Spaceship" tornado shelter for the first time.  The boys thought it was cool.  They weren't scared...as a matter of fact, Sutton had a nice little fit when we were all clear and had to go back in the house.

The boys Valentine's cards for this year.

I went to pick up the boys from their school one day, and here is how I found Sutton.  So CUTE!

Sutton got a new batman shirt from a friend and co worker of mine.  Thank you Alicia!

Brian took Avery on his first overnight duck hunt.  He LOVED it, did well, and got some special one on one time with his daddy.

We did wake up to snow on our last morning at Big Cedar. If you ever get a chance to go here.....GO!

Polk Reception

The BIG RECEPTION.....my sister and PJ were married in December in St. Thomas.  Family and friends gathered this past weekend to celebrate their marriage.  We all gathered at the country club in DeQueen and had lots of food, cake, and fun!  Here are the bride and groom listening to people on the microphone wishing them luck and toasting to their future.

Lindsey and some of her closest friends enjoyed the night!

Here is the oh so popular FRAME that everyone had a blast getting behind for their picture!
My grandparents.....

Here is Lindsey and her coworkers from The Cutting Room and Company.  Lindsey and PJ will be moving to Conway here within a few weeks.  I know these girls are going to miss her so much.

Jeff and Twana behind the frame!

Having some fun......

Awe....our Marla

At one point during the night, we all went out onto the golf course and lit wish lanterns for PJ and Lindsey....It was so neat!

The DJ had all the married couples get out onto the dance floor.....during the song, he dismissed couples that had been married for 1 year or less, then 5 years or less, then 10, and so on and so forth...Lindsey and PJ remained on the floor the entire time.  It got down to 40 years or less and my grandparents were the last couple left dancing with PJ and Lindsey.  They have been married for 53 years.  It was so special to see.

Our beautiful mother put this reception together and did a wonderful job.  It couldn't have been more perfect!

Any of you who know my Pappaw knows that he likes to tell a story....or a joke.  The night wouldn't have been complete without him getting on the microphone and telling a funny joke!

As the night went on, everyone began dancing and having lots of fun!  Here everyone is doing the infamous Cotton Eyed Joe!
