Trick or Treat

We had another great Halloween this year. We went to the Young's for dinner and trick or treating. Avery was an Indian and Ava was Dorothy. We put Sutton in a Halloween onesie and then a bear suit to keep him warm. They really got into it this year and enjoyed getting all the candy!

As usual....just hanging out!

And of course we had to meet up with Colt and see him! He was so cute!

Daddy's Hands

One day this week, Sutton fell asleep in Brian's lap holding onto his fingers so tight. It was just the sweetest thing.

Last night we met The Young's at GS Fest for some fun! Avery and Ava rode a pony, cars, and motorcycles.

Getting Ready....

Getting ready for...deer season & Halloween! Avery got to go hunting for the first time this past weekend with his Dad. Of course he carried his play rifle...he got to see a doe and her baby. He LOVED it! He woke up several mornings this week telling me he was ready to go hunting for some deer. Tomorrow is Avery's Halloween party at his preschool. My sister and I had taken him to pick out a costume, but that just wasn't happening. He could not pick out a costume and just wasn't that crazy about it. So, a few weeks ago, Brian and I went and picked one out for him. We got it out tonight and put it on him. He loved it! We were relieved. We also baked some cookies to take. I think Sutton is just going to sport his Halloween onesie :)

Today we went to lunch and the zoo with our friends Kacey and Ava and some of their friends from back home. It was a beautiful day and we all had fun!

Sutton was a trooper as always and just hung out!

Wonderful WEDNESDAY

Today was wonderful....the weather and the company! Avery's best bud Colt came to play for the day. These boys haven't seen each other in a while, so they were so excited to play together. We drug out every toy in this house and then took the fun outside. After Colt went home, Aunt Amber stopped by for a visit and then we carved our Jack-o-lantern. :)
I took this picture of the boys the other morning. It makes me smile.

Aunt Amber and Sutton

Of course I had to try and put Sutton in the pumpkin to take some pictures...this didn't work out to well. He did NOT like the feeling of being in that pumpkin..this is about the only picture I got!
