Random

Brian and I take turns giving Avery his bath. If I'm busy, Brian will do it and if he's busy I'll do it. Well, when Brian gives Avery his bath, he always combs Avery's hair in some funky way. Sometimes it's parted right down the middle, sometimes a mo hawk, and this time it was just spiked all over! I never know how Avery is going to come out looking after Brian gives him a bath!

Aunt Twana & Uncle Jeff have been coming to stay some. We love visiting and spending time with them!

Birthday

OK....I must admit, my husband can be super sweet and thoughtful! He ALWAYS gets me a gift, card, etc...for special occasions, and he always tries to surprise me. It's almost as if he tries to out do himself from the time before....if you know what I mean. Well, his birthday was last week, then Valentines, then my birthday was this week. We spent the weekend in Hot Springs and had a wonderful time. We went to dinner and he bought me a camera I had been wanting which was great! We kind of celebrated it all in one weekend. So my actual birthday comes and I'm not expecting anything because we had already celebrated. Well, I come home from work....and Brian is already home and has 2 balloons for me, one from him and the other from Avery. He also had a very sweet card attached. Then we sit down at the table for dinner. With my back to the kitchen I keep telling Brian to hurry up cause we're hungry! He was hanging out in there and we were ready to eat....I look up and he is carrying a mini strawberry cheesecake with candles on it. I was so surprised! He really made my day! There is nothing better than thoughtfulness!

Momma's Helper

Avery has been helping around the house a lot here lately. Anything Brian and I do, he wants to help us. He likes to help wash the laundry and put it away. He also likes to help Brian bring in the fire wood and build a fire. It's pretty cute because he always smiles and feels so proud when he helps us out!

Superbowl Sunday

We went to Blake, Kacey, and Ava's house to watch the game on Sunday. I was able to get a few pics of Avery and Ava. They played and watched a movie!

Baby #2

Brian, Avery, and I are so excited about extending our family! We are pregnant with our second child and couldn't be happier! We went for our first doctor's appointment this past Monday. Everything looked great and the heartbeat was just perfect. I was able to get some medicine for this morning sickness I've been having! Thank Goodness....the whole morning sickness thing is new to me. Avery is not quiet old enough to understand that he will have a brother or sister, but he will point to my tummy and say baby. I am 9 weeks now and our due date is September 13th. Here he is checking out the ultrasound pictures.

Ice Day

We were hoping for some snow, but instead got ice. It was still fun to take Avery out in it to see his reaction. We bundled up that night before bedtime and went and played in the ice. His favorite part was the ice cycles....he ate one after the other.

We had our 100th day of kindergarten last week. We all made hats with 100 items on them. The teachers joined in on the fun!
