Memorial Weekend

We were at the lake all weekend! We swam, cooked, rode jet skis, and played. The weather was BEAUTIFUL all weekend long. Avery had so many friends to play with. I don't have pictures of all of them, but I will name a few....Jackson, Cooper, Layken, Tressie, Drake, Kailynn, Bradi, Presli, and yes, there were several more! I was able to get some pics to share!

Layken Young and her cute self!

Avery and Jackson had a time playing all weekend!

Jackson, Avery, and Bear sitting by the lake, throwing rocks. This was one of Avery's favorite things to do. He would stand at the bank and just throw rocks one by one for hours if you would let him!

Amber the Graduate!

This weekend we traveled to DeQueen to watch Amber graduate from high school. We are all so proud of her. She graduated 5th in her class and was awarded over $20,000 dollars worth of scholarships. She will attend U of A in the fall and major in occupational therapy. She is beautiful inside and out! Congrats Amber!

Hanging Around the House

One day last week, Avery wanted to help me cook supper. We were having sausage, eggs, and biscuits, so I let him stir the eggs. He really liked helping me out! I might as well take advantage of this while he WANTS to help me! He did a good job...

Several months ago, Brian went and bought some chickens just to have around the house. It has been really fun watching Avery play with them and feed them. We have 4 chickens and 1 rooster. They didn't lay eggs for the longest time. Now....they are laying! We have baby chicks! Don't know what we are going to do with them, but we are having fun for now while there is only 6 of them. We will have to start gathering the eggs daily or we will have a zoo!!

Cozy Cabin Surprise!

Brian called me at work on Friday afternoon and told me that I needed to go home and pack Avery and I an overnight bag. He had rented us a cabin on the Little Red River. We were going to do some trout fishing! I love surprises and I really love them when my husband does it all on his own. We drove up that night, fished a little, woke up the next morning, fished a little more, and the came back home. It was a good time. On the way home we stopped at IHOP and then Brian took us to a gravel pit over by the airport so that Avery could watch a few planes take off and land. He LOVED that....He is all about airplanes and things that "go fast." Thanks for being so thoughtful Brian. We loved every minute of our surprise!

Avery was more interested in the bait than fishing!

This picture was taken while we were watching an airplane land. Avery was fascinated! A little update on baby Sutton. We are 24 weeks along now. He is moving around and kicking like crazy. My due date was changed to September 8th. Avery still doesn't know what is going on. He thinks that Sutton is in every one's belly~We can't wait to meet this little guy!

The Wedding!

Amber, Brian's sister, and Steven got married this Saturday. The wedding was absolutely beautiful! Her colors were pink and black. Avery rode down the isle in a wagon and did great. Amber was a beautiful bride. We are so glad to have Steven as part of our family!
