FREE Fun!!

I wish I would have gone to this park sooner!  We visited War Memorial Water Park this morning and had a blast.  I've been wanting to take my kids so we loaded up early this morning to see what it was like.  It was rainy and misting which was perfect because for a good hour to hour and a half there was no one there.  We had the park to ourselves....and the mist and rain felt great!  I hope we are able to go back more before school starts back up.

The boys could have played even longer than we did, but it began getting crowded around 10:30 so we decided to head on out.  This was such a nice outing....and it was FREE FUN!!

Muffins & Cookies

Love these muffins!  1 can of pumpkin mixed with a box of yellow cake mix and that's it.  My sister told me about these earlier this week and was saying how good they were for a healthy muffin.  I made them yesterday and they are totally good!  I added a little cool whip on top of mine.  They are 3 points in weight watchers.....great for a sweet tooth!

I also made these Vanilla Wafer Banana Cookies that I saw on a blog over on my blog list (Come Together Kids).  This is also the blog where I saw the firework t-shirts.  My kids made them with me and they were super easy and fun!  Get a pretty ripe banana and slice, put in between 2 wafers, then add your sprinkles.



The 4th

What a BIG week!  We arrived back home today after being gone for 4 days visiting family and friends.  Our 4th of July plans were cancelled because of the burn ban so we headed to DeQueen to shoot some fireworks.  Sevier Co. was one of the only counties that was not under the burn ban. 

We made firework t-shirts with the boys on the 4th....they LOVED it!

 Oh....funny story...when we arrived in town on Wednesday, we went to eat lunch with some family we haven't seen in a while.  I had a couple of toys for the boys to play with while we visited and ate.  I gave Sutton a toy car to carry.  As soon as we walked up to the gathering, I noticed the car was gone and I kept asking my sister "Have you seen Sutton's car?" This went on for a good 10 to 15 minutes...us searching for Sutton's car...when finally my sister noticed my stylish necklace!!

One night we all got together and had a water volleyball tournament....Way Fun!!

I was able to go see Shannon and Hannah Caroline one day.

2 New Photo Books

I LOVE making photo books!  I do not print pictures off unless they are going in a frame usually...the easiest way for me to keep up with my photos is to simply make a book.  I started them when Avery was born.  I do them for holidays, birthdays, vacations, and anything else special!  I think I've made around 25 to 30 books over the past 5 years.  I've made them on with Walmart, Snapfish, MyPublisher, and Shutterfly.  My favorites right now are on Shutterfly because of their wonderful discounts!  I had forgotten to make Sutton a baby book of photos, so I just I made that one and finished it up this week.  I also made our Florida 2012 vacation books.  If you've never made one, they are super easy and fun!

Cantina Laredo

We had another great dinner last night!  Everyone needs a girl's night right?  I sure do!  It is such a nice break to get out with my girlfriends and just chit chat, smile, laugh, and enjoy each other.  We went to Cantina Laredo and ate mexican food....and of course enjoyed starbucks afterwards.
