EASTER

This is great....after church I was like "OK boys...time for pics!" As you can see, Avery is SOOOO over pictures! Is this just not pit-i-ful?

The Easter bunny snuck into our house last night and left some goodies....and "A mess!" said Avery. He wasn't impressed with the bunny footprints, he was more worried that he made a mess on our floor. Sutton like them.

Off to church! Man, what a service.

Easter was wonderful!

Here is how the rest of our weekend went. Nana and Poppa came to stay the night on Friday. We went out for Mexican food and just hung out. Saturday after they left, Brian and I took the boys to the playground at my school to play some basketball and play.

This look is priceless...can't remember now what it was for. (I think Brian asked him if he wanted to go hunting for the Easter bunny!)

I took this picture at home on Saturday night....see the cross?? Pretty neat huh....

Brian and I got Avery a "real" glove and ball for Easter. We practiced playing catch in the yard. He loved it.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! This was Avery's 5th Easter and Sutton's 2nd.....hard to believe!

So Pretty for a Boy

Had to post this picture....he almost looks like a pretty little girl in this picture!!.....

I assure you...he's FAR from it...all boy here!

Just playing outside around here can be so much fun. There's just so much exploring to do and so much cool stuff to get into!

Avery is so good to Sutton. Sutton LOVES riding anything motorized. He is so NOT scared. He doesn't quite get the whole steering concept yet, so he tends to run into stuff and gets stuck like every 2 minutes or so. Avery goes to his rescue every time he needs help.
I love reading Boni's blog and she had recently posted a picture of her pet....it kind of made me feel bad because I don't think that I've ever posted any pictures of ours!! Meet Pearl...she is our 9 year old bloodhound. We also have an 8 year old Jack Russell terrier named Jack...I will post pictures of him later. He would NOT cooperate tonight for his photo shoot.

We put out mulch this afternoon and Avery was all about helping out and using his shovel.

Hunting those Eggs

Today was just about as close to a perfect day as you could get if you ask me....Brian had to work (the not so perfect part) but, the boys and I headed to church for some Easter egg hunting, games, and face painting with one of my dear friends Stinnett! Avery was NOT feeling it (which was ok) he just wanted to observe and get a balloon. Sutton was all about some games, face painting, and hunting eggs! After the church hunt, lunch, and a nap, we headed to the park then back home for some hunting in our own yard.

Avery told me when we got home that he just didn't want everybody watching him hunt those eggs...he just wanted me to watch him. So, we had our own Easter egg hunt at home for Avery.

Ok, this picture makes me laugh out loud! Didn't realize I captured it until I got home and put all the pics on my computer. Obviously this sweet lady was helping Sutton out showing him an egg to get....Sutton's face is cracking me up, and not to mention his head is buried in someone's backside!

AIRPLANE>>>>>>>>

The Easter eggs we hunted at the house were full of coins....so....at the end of the day, the boys filled up their Piggy Banks....(Do you still call the Piggy Banks if they're not piggies?? or do you call them Penny Banks??) HUM

Alligator Pizza

So, Avery had picked out a really neat Alligator at the Museum last weekend and it started out at 10 inches. You keep it in water over several days and it grows....Avery and Brian measure it everyday....it is at about 26 inches right now and should get to around 32 before too long.

Avery and bestie Colt have not got to see each other in a while...it was that time! I took them to Larry's Pizza last night for some food and games. They had so much fun and so did I...these 2 are so funny when they are together.

Avery just gets sweeter by the day! He is an absolute joy.

Museum of Discovery

The Museum of Discovery is way cool! It was right up Avery's alley....and Sutton's! I think the reason we liked it so much is that it was great for ALL ages. Brian and I even had some fun and learned some things ourselves. Avery loves some dinosaurs....has for a while, so the dinosaur exhibit was his favorite.

We will definitely be going back very soon!
