Avery's 5!

My sweet boy is 5!  He wore his birthday shirt to preschool for his birthday.  He was so proud of it because he made it himself on the computer.  He had a wonderful day!  After I picked him up, he helped bake his cake. 

 

 

He added some star sprinkles and picked out just the right candles....and placed them in just the right spot!

and then moved them a few times.

 

What a blessing he is to all of those who know him...Happy 5 years Avery Brian!

Making It Through Color Week!

It's color week at preschool!  We've made it to Wednesday and my kids are getting annoyed with me trying to take 53 pictures before we head out the door at 7:15a.m.  They'll be glad I did this when they get older! 

 

Monday was RED day!

 

Tuesday we rocked our ORANGE gear!

 

This morning was YELLOW...It is Wednesday and it showed this morning....tired boys...mid week sleepies!

Dirt Pile #2

We still have our dirt pile piles.  We have two now.  So, this afternoon it was time to get dirty once again!

 

I was able to get several pictures of the boys once they reached the TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN!  Talk about hard work.....you can see what a celebration it was to reach the top!!

 

This has GOT to be my favorite one by far!

Celebration!

My baby is now 2 and my other baby will be 5 in a couple of weeks!  We went down to celebrate both of their birthday's with our families this past weekend.  Sutton is a Yo Gabba Gabba fan so we got him a cake fitting....Avery is still into dinosaurs so he picked out the type of dinosaur he wanted on his cake.  Lots of friends and family came to celebrate with us at Nana and Poppa's house.  Poppa even gave the kids a ride on the horse.  We had a blast!

 

 

 

I think Sutton would have rode off into the sunset if we would have let him!  He LOVED the horse and did NOT want to get off.....Avery didn't care anything about the horse...didn't even really care to look at it.  My children could not be more opposite!

Before heading back home on Sunday, we stopped to visit with Cacky and Granny.  I was also able to get some sweet loving from my niece Mabry.

Kindergarten

 

I can't say how much I love these girls!  All my kindergarten teachers....(missing Bump)....we had Mrs. McClain a baby shower this week.  She will be having her 2nd baby girl really soon.  I love my job, I love my school, I love my girls!

 

Got Dirt?

How cool is a dad who brings home a load of dirt for his kids....

and of course a mom who let's them play ALL in it!!  These boys had so much fun just playing in the dirt tonight and we had just as much fun watching them!

 



Happy Grandparent's Day!

I'm pretty sure that my children have been blessed with the most AMAZING grandparents ever!!  Avery and Sutton have lots of loving grandparents.  Nana and Poppa drove up on Labor Day to visit and just play with them.  We enjoyed them so much. 

It was close to nap and as you can see....they all just piled up and snuggled for a little while.  So cute...

 

The preschool where the boys go had a special grandparent's breakfast this morning.  CC, Nonnie, and Pappaw were able to come stay the night with us last night and attend the breakfast.  Avery and Sutton were so excited to see them!



 

We love ALL of our grandparents.  There is nothing like the bond between grandchildren and their grandparents.  We love you GRANDPARENTS!!

Happy Birthday to you!  Sutton Henry turned 2 years old today and he knew it.  He grinned from ear to ear all day long.  Here's a little bit about the birthday boy.....

*SO curious

*Wants to be a big boy

*LOVES Yo Gabba Gabba, Trains, & his Daddy

*Always wants to turn the lights off and on

*Not Scared...of ANYTHING

*Can throw a fit

*Is very LOUD

*Playful

*LOVES puzzles, books, and pizza

*Has a great energy about him

*Never a dull moment with this kiddo

*Can spot an airplane in the air that I can barely see

*Loves his blanky

 

 

The yummy "healthy" cake!  I'm a big weight watcher's fan...this is a ww cake recipe and it was so good.  All I used was a can of diet sprite & a box of chocolate fudge cake mix.  I used sugar free cool whip mixed with fat free cream cheese and a cup of splenda for the icing; top it off with fruit! 

2 points per serving using the new weight watcher points plus system.  My husband even enjoyed it!

 

I think he likes his train!

 

The night before Sutton's birthday we got to visit with the Young's!  We haven't been over to see them in a long time and we were all excited for a good visit!  The kids had a blast playing together. 

 

 Little man Jake had is 1st birthday last week.....growing boy!!

I am so thankful for today.
