Getting Back to "Normal"

I just love this picture of Mumu and Avery!!

Well....it's been so fun having been able to spend a lot of time in DeQueen with Mom....my time off is coming to an end. She is doing so good and getting better each day. I'm so thankful we have got to be there with her most of the past 2 months. Her doctor is hopeful that she will be able to start walking again here in about 4 weeks!! Yay!! I am excited to be at home and get back to teaching.

Here are a few pictures I took this week.....There is nothing like family!!

These 2 boys have brought nothing but pure joy and laughter into my life!! They have also been a good dose of medicine for my Mom. I still look at them and think to myself "I can't believe I am the lucky Momma of these 2 perfect boys!"

Christmas Time

I woke up this morning so excited to spend it with my mom and the rest of my family. The weather was great. We were able to eat, open presents, and play outside!!

A popular item this year were fake mustaches!!

I think if we were to stick bow in Sutton's hair, he would make a beautiful girl!! He's just pretty :)

An Early Christmas Funny

Ok...so we've made it a tradition to go see Christmas lights in Sherwood at Enchanted Forest every year. Well, last night was Enchanted Forest night! Let's just say the pictures were quite amusing that we came out with. The kids really enjoyed the lights, but I think Brian and I had more fun!!!

Check out this first picture...Brian and I are being goobers of course trying to get a pic of us 2...(which can be tricky when you're the one trying to take the picture)...check out the boys expressions in the back. I think they are thinking..."What in the heck are Mom and Dad doing and why??"

So, we looked at the preview, got a good laugh, and tried again....here's what we got.....

Monastery of Marylake

Family photo time! My friend Rochelle met up with us one afternoon for some picture taking about a week ago. We teach kindergarten together but she likes to do photography on the side and she's very good at it. She was able to get some great pics. We went down to the Monastery of Marylake in East End. This place is just beautiful!

We saw a flock of geese fly over the lake and Rochelle captured this photo...thought it was pretty neat.
